Dragon Academy turns your child's grassroots football journey into an adventure they'll love.
Every session they train with the academy, their very own dragon grows — earning XP, unlocking badges, climbing the leaderboard and evolving through six stages, from a tiny egg all the way to a fire-breathing Legend.
It's the football academy in your pocket, built to keep young players motivated between sessions and to give parents a window into their child's progress.
WHAT'S INSIDE
• My Dragon — a living 3D character that levels up from real training attendance, with its own player card and progress journey.
• XP & streaks — points for every session, with bonus XP for training week after week.
• Badges & awards — Player of the Week, Player of the Month and dozens of achievements to collect.
• Dragon Stadium — eight quick football mini-games: keepy-uppies, shootout, target flick, goalkeeping, crossbar challenge, dribbling, head tennis and 1v1 head soccer. Four difficulty levels each. Games are for records and glory only — XP comes from real training.
• Leaderboards — the monthly XP race plus academy records for every stadium game, shown by first name and last initial only.
• Dragon Trophy Series — a trophy event every school holiday, with the season and area standings in the app.
• Train at home — weekly tasks and challenge cards, plus a way to claim the XP for trophies and medals your child has won elsewhere.
• Learn — age-appropriate football know-how and lessons.
• Home feed — session recaps, announcements and Player of the Week straight from your coaches.
• Coach messages — a direct line between your family and your child's coach for feedback and questions.
BUILT FOR FAMILIES
Accounts are held by parents. Children are profiles you manage. There is no public profile, no friend requests and no social feed. Messaging is a private one-to-one thread with your own academy coaches only — there is no player-to-player messaging, and no photos or files can be sent in a message.
Where the app does let you attach a picture — showing a drill setup, or a trophy you're claiming XP for — it goes privately to your own coaches for approval and is never shown to other families or published anywhere.
There are no adverts and no in-app purchases. Academy membership is arranged separately with the club.
You can delete your account and all of its data at any time from inside the app: Profile → Delete account. You can also request deletion at https://www.dragondevelopment.co.uk/post/dragon-academy-app-delete-account
