Extremely easy! Just launch the application to obtain an instant overview of the planets surrounding you. You're in the middle of the screen, on Earth, and the planets are being displayed around you. If a planet is above the Compass Ring and is highlighted, it's visible. If the planet is below the Compass Ring, towards the center of the Earth, it is shadowed and below your horizon.
Planet Finder + comes with an advanced Augmented Reality Camera: Just point your phone to the sky and Planet Finder + will instantly switch to Augmented Reality Mode. Spot planets and stars through your mobile camera, take a snapshot and share via facebook, email, twitter or MMS!
Interact with the Augmented Reality View by activating its Player. Play, pause, rewind and fast forward the Solar System. This will render the trajectories of the planets and the moons of Jupiter and Saturn.

Get even more detailed information by touching a Planet Item in the list. Planet Magnitude real time data, apparent diameter, distance from earth, elongation and its constellation in the sky.
Hit the 3D Planet icon for a detailed 3D view of planet/moon texture and check out the real time positions of the moons of Jupiter and Saturn. (If observing through a refractor, flip the phone 180 degrees as it turns the view upside down).
Hit the RTD button to return to Animation Mode to play with scene lightening: zoom in/out or tilt the planetary systems. You can also study all moons in detail, and pause the animation.
Hit the RTS icon to display the planets rise/transit/set times or get the current number of sunspots by hitting the Sun 3D icon. Access the latest static information by tapping the Wiki icon.

The application uses OpenCV for Android to perceive the world through the smartphones camera. Currently three computer vision modes are supported: Color Blob Tracking, Color Ball Tracking, and Face Tracking. Color Blob Tracking is used to track any object based on its color. Simply point the camera at an object and select the object on the screen. The application will immediately start tracking to object. To select another object, simply select another object on the screen. Color Ball Tracking is similar to Color Blob Tracking but only tracks round objects like balls of the selected color. Other shapes, like triangles, are ignored. Finally, face detection tracks frontal faces.
The Quad RC Servo Controller application is used to create servo sequences. The sequences can be saved, loaded, and exported to either BASIC programs or WAV files. When exporting to a BASIC file, the Quad RC Servo Controller actually generates a complete BASIC program incorporating your servo sequence. Simply load the BASIC program into RFO BASIC for Android (you need to install the modified version from EMGRobotics.com) and run. This is a great tool for getting started in mechatronics programming.
The WAV files generator creates a WAV file that can be used by any application that can play WAV files to control the servos. Simply create your servo sequences, and save it as a WAV file. Applications like Catroid (an Android graphic based programming language) can playback the WAV files and control the servos through the headphone jack.
