About this game

This app will introduce you to Biblical Hebrew consonants and vowels and how they work together in syllables. This is the first step in reading Biblical Hebrew.

You will be shown two syllables and asked to pick the correct one based on what you hear. The pairs are sequenced to build upon one other making learning intuitive and natural. No previous Hebrew knowledge required.

Ratings and reviews

Graphics are quite low quality, but the app is very functional. It's designed for a very specific learning level, students who already know how to identify Hebrew letters and are trying to sound out syllables to make words. Still, I found it a good refresher as I am in the process of learning to read Hebrew. Once you've reached all 8 level, that's it. The app took me less than 10 minutes to complete all the content.

I am trying to learn Hebrew in my spare time and I found this app and love it. I barely know the letters and this is the only reason I can recognize a few vowels. Please, please, please, develop more apps just like this one. Don't change a think, it's perfect. I'm begging you. Thank you
