A recent update has made recording a GPS track a mess. To the point where the app is completely useless. The track isn't updated in real time, the app stays in "Starting" forever, it doesn't show the current location. It's a complete waste of effort trying to use this POS. I will never buy another map from the store with the app this poor.

Download ignis! It has a lot of the same functionality and it's free! That's the app I've switched to for wildland. this app used to be great but private equity seems to have discovered it's usefulness. used to be able to have 3 imported maps at a time, now the low tier is 20 imports/year. I'll use it sparingly until an alternative for wildfire has been found. way to let profits get in the way of an effective and safe tool for communication and coordination.

You used to be able to import 3 custom maps for free but now that is a premium feature worth $35 per year. For half that price you can use an app which allows unlimited downloads of offline data. Don't understand this price point for an app without even a basic map offline. If you provide your own map you pay to use the app.
