Forced to use This APP In order to use Bright House on my $2,000 Smart TV I had to buy an android box because Bright House in their wisdom seems to still believe in Flash. NOW the app won't play because I'm using an HDMI cable. Are these people retarded? Just discovered that if I'm not on MY home network that I am limited to just a few live channels despite my user name and password as well as my mac address. Bright House sucks balls.
Not sure if app or what. Between 8:50 and around 9:30PM nearly every night it doesn't log in. Maybe too many users? Most of the time it is asking you to call the 800 number for help. Happens regularly. Best option is uninstall and reinstall app. Don't fool with settings as far as logins or you have to deal with your password.
Used to like.... I keep getting a msg when I open app no matter where I am saying "not available live TV and on demand streaming is available in the US and it's territories ." Please fix. I travel a lot within the country and enjoy this perk of my service. When I'm home I also get a ms saying my channels aren't available on my tablet and phone as well.
Hardly works. Not worth the effort. I spend more time trying to get the app working. Tech support just says that's how it is. Often have to force stop them reload. Many times have to Uninstaller and reinstall (as directed by tech support). This gets very tiresome after awhile. Not worth the trouble. Find a better alternative. This app not worth the trouble.
clunky, doesn't format well on android box update: now the app says it "does not currently support HDMI video out from this device. Please disconnect HDMI to continue using BHTV." This means I can't use my android tv box. I guess Brighthouse thinks it is ok to connect a computer to a TV but not an Android TV box.... what a disappointing restriction.
Waste of time This app is ****** useless. It only works maybe one or two days a week. I've called customer support and they say "there must be temporary outages they aren't aware of". Baloney. For over $200 a month I expect to be able to use what services they advertise. Very unhappy customer as far as this pos app goes...
