Review from Casey Hodgson
Dungelot eat your heart out! This is well worth the money, and is an absolute blast to play! I loved dungelot, but found it too cutesy. This game on the other hand, is that style of game, only ten times better! Great game, great price, great dev!
I'm blown away.... In my opinion one of the best mobile games I've played. A totally immersing experience, the game doesn't hold your hand it's tough but fair. Enemies stats are random, and it keeps you guessing, has a great crafting system, looting galore, etc. Amazing, I can't wait to see what the developer's do next.
3D Compatibility Changed from 2 to 4 stars. Figured out how to bypass crashing by turning the 3D off. It's certainly fun, especially the blocking element, but I wish I could get the full 3D experience. Lvl40 level cap concerns me too.
Took money. DONT BUY I bought the game and paid the 1.99 IAP , they took my money and didnt give me the IAP, and the progress resets everytime i close app. No response from developer.
This game is fantastic! I have played, perhaps, four other games with a similar interface, but Dungeon Journey is by far the most sophisticated. What gamers will find within Dungeon Journey is a rogue like adventure that pits players against several floors of enemies to grind and chew through, all in an attempt to better your character's skills. Player's journey tile by tile, uncovering treasure, spells, traps, and different enemies. Although that may sound familiar, Dungeon Journey rises to the top in several different categories. For starters, each enemy that players uncover are all fully animated, adding a little extra flavor to gameplay. Where this game really shines is the combat. Combat is resolved in a turn based fashion. When an enemy tile is uncovered, simply pressing on the monster attacks it. When your enemy counterattacks, players can maximize their blocking by raising their shields at a certain moment, making battles more involved than just "tapping". Overall, Dungeon Journey is an impressive effort from the devs and is totally worth the price of admission. Players will find a satisfying tabletop RPG stimulation that rival board games similar to Descent. I am having an absolute blast with the game and look forward to later releases by the developers. Thanks for all of your hard work and at the very least, y'all have made a genuine fan from your game.
Too bad that project looks like abandoned by its owner, I bought it with hope that it will be constantly developed but it looks like author don't give a £#+!
Keeps closing Really like the game but it closes at random times. Usually when I'm a few floors into a dungeon. Galaxy s4
