Nice Demo I really enjoyed this games, and I would love to give it 5 stars but a few changes to UI would be fantastic. Looking up to see vitals is super unintuitive, and simply having it in the upper left corner of your vision would be nicer and easier to keep track of. Also, I encountered a bug in the final boss where I couldnt load the crossbow for some reason. All in all, its a great intro to cardboard, and I'm looking forwards to other games you guys make!
Cool first VR adventure Got North VR headset for Christmas. Tried this game first. Played on Motorola Droid using PS4 controller. Very immersive. Completely lost track of which direction my body was facing IRL. Motion sickness began to set in around 10 minutes. Main criticism for this version is I couldn't interact with arrows to load the bow. Otherwise, very cool experience. I would pay a little for a bug free version and a lot for a polished version.
Game is good but... So far the game seems good but my character just moves so slow having to look down at the feet to get it moving and using the action button on my vr headset to fight is a pain.. I have a one handed blu tooth controller with joystick that came with my headset but does not work for anything in this game.. Can someone recommend a good controller that actually does work? Please help. It would make this game a 5 star game easily if I could know what controller actually works. Thanks
Fixed I was really excited to play this game since i recently got a DreamVR, but when i went to play it wouldnt let me turn or move very well, it kept snapping back to the same point of view. I would have to turn extensively just to be able to see the wall to my left. Dont bother with this game until its fixed. ----------- the issue was fixed, thank you very much! Im excited to see this game grow. Just wish i could open the door or destroy boxes :)
Good Good how but I can't figure out how to get my DualShock4 controller to work with it, probably because I haven't done this kind of thing before. A link however to a webpage or something that shows you how to hook up the controller would be nice. This isn't the main reason for why I'm rating this 4 stars though. The main reason as a lot of others have been also saying is the use animations. Rather than casting a spell or swinging a sword it looks like you're just quickly tapping someone with a sword.
Its a nice demo I'd like to see where the devs take this for future updates and titles. A couple things I'd have liked are a faster walkspeed and a more interesting boss fight. Instead of collecting arrows and pushing a button, it would have been more exciting to shoot it down with fire balls and have mana potions in the crates. Maybe have it move around a bit too. Otherwise it was a fun little dungeon crawl. I've never felt closer to actually killing level 1 slimes before. B+
