The Grand Strand is loaded with some of the best dive sites on the East Coast!! We have a high concentration of beautiful natural shipwreck sites that range in age from the mid 1800's to the 1960's, with many from the Civil War and WWII era. We also have several reefs that contain intact ships! While you're here, be sure to check out Barracuda Alley,- a project spear-headed by Coastal Scuba and the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources!
Our dive sites are usually teaming with marine life, including angel fish, grouper, amberjack, butterfly fish, great Atlantic barracuda, sea turtles, and even the occasional lobster! In recent years even lionfish have been discovered living on our wrecks! On many of the sites you may find "sunken treasures" of brass artifacts that went down with the ship. These may include Civil War belt buckles, trigger guards, gun butt plates, bottles, china, small personal items, and port holes,- just to name a few.
Coastal Scuba brings together years of experience from its captains, instructors and dive masters. Our goal is to make your diving experience the best you have had in the Carolinas, with something to offer every diver from the newly certified, to the seasoned veteran. Thank you for making us your first choice in South Carolina scuba diving charters and lessons!
We are proud to present the Safari IV! This 45 foot customized dive boat is sleek enough to get you to dive sites quickly, sturdy enough to offer you stability against the occasionally unpredictable Atlantic, and yet roomy and spacious on board, complete with a full size head (bathroom), 2 ice coolers for your snacks, and a professional crew. She carries all Coast Guard required equipment including first aid kit and oxygen.
We are also proud to announce the addition of the Little River Fishing Fleet to our company!: The Pride of the Carolinas and the Sundancer are outfitted for both fishing and scuba diving, running trips year round based on customer demand.
Remember, demand for diving is high in the summer, so please book early. All weekends are especially busy. But best of all,... if mother nature prohibits us from diving there are numerous topside activities for you to enjoy. These include over 100 fantastic golf courses, thousands of restaurants and bars, theaters, and much, much more. We pride ourselves in our professional, friendly service. Thank you for choosing us,- we look forward to diving with you soon.

The USMC EAS Countdown is a Marine Corps separation countdown that will show you how long you have left and how long you have served. As a Marine veteran I remember counting the months, weeks and days. At first the days went by quick but after a while it seemed like no end in sight, so this app can remind you that there is a day that you will become a civilian again. Features include option to countdown to terminal leave.
Please email/comment any feature requests or bugs to improve the app. What kind of widget would you like to see for this app? a 1x1 that just displays the days or a 2 x 1 that shows maybe your rank, EGA, or random Marine Corps related images.
Options to sound Reveille, Assembly, and Retreat as alarms.
Great for members of the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard. Set the alarms to sync with the bugle calls at your base.
Also great for those preparing for the Service, Basic Training, ROTC, OTS, and Veterans who simply miss it.
Note: The volume is controlled by the phone's "Alarm Volume" setting.
Official app for the Australian Volunteer Coast Guard – The Coast Guard SafeTrx app allows you to register your vessel and plan your journey on your Android.
Registering vessel and journey information couldn’t be any easier. Follow an easy to understand registration process to register your contact and vessel details within the application. Once your registration details are saved you may begin planning your journey. Using built in maps, select a starting point, an optional waypoint and an end destination. Add to this an ETA, the type of trip and the number of persons on board your vessel. Once this is completed simply press the ‘set sail’ button when you are ready to start your journey.
Pressing ‘set sail’ will register the journey details with the Australian Volunteer Coast Guard computer server and will activate position reporting in the app. At regular intervals the app will send a position report to the server and the Coast Guard will be automatically alerted if the journey exceeds the ETA.
At any stage during the journey you can end your trip, revise the ETA, number of people on board or the destination.
Requires Android’s OS 4.0 and above
