This is a fun experience that captures the feel of the Alien films, and does so from an angle other games haven't done before. Guiding your crewmembers through the station while trying to keep an eye on the alien is very reminiscent of the vent scene from the first movie. It's tense and exciting, and you feel brilliant when you manage to outsmart the monster and keep your crew safe. It's an enjoyable implementation of the "camera watching" style of horror games, with more control and tactics.

The game is definitely fun and challenging but I have to agree it was really short. Having to navigate your crew through this space station really challenging and scary but I'm having issues. One is that the prompts for trying to block the alien in your room are way too fast. Although it does remind me of FNAF it feels like its own game with the crew gameplay. Overall though I've had no crashes. The game looks great and the alien looks surprisingly good. A short good game with some problems.

In Alien: Blackout you are in charge of four NPCs who you must guide through different levels and locations safely, while also trying to keep yourself from getting attacked. It's a different dimension of gameplay and we're glad you've experienced how unique it is!

It is a fun tense little game. Unfortunately it too little of a game; as it is over by the time it feels like it really gets started. If there was more to do even if it meant repeating maps, would go a long way. Also a mechanic that you could distract the alien from the crew would be nice--even if that meant putting Amanda in danger. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it, but it feels like only a taste of what the game could be.
