Worst Christmas gift. The app if not compatible with my daughter's tablet. An Acer running Android 4.4.2. The box says: Compatible with iOS and Android and in small letters below the web address to check compatibility. I noted the web address only after this disappointment. When I visited their web site I found out that the app it's only compatible with a few devices from 5 manufacturers. Next time you should make it more clear in the box. I'm not returning it because my daughter still want to color the book. Also, even in a compatible phone, the app don't easily see the mannequin. Most of the time the animation is jumping and doing something completely different from the mannequin.
Ridiculous 😡 Bought this for my niece as it says it works with Android devices, which she has - Asus - but when I went to download the app I find out it isn't compatible with that particular Android device. False advertising if you ask me. If it won't work with ALL Android devices then you shouldn't say "Works with Android" on the packaging. I can't believe a company like Crayola would do this to their customers!!! If it works with "Android" then any device with that version of Android should be compatible. 😠
This was such a disappointment The app is so inconsistent - you get the picture all colored and when you go to scan it - it will not see it will not scan - the mannequin is poor quality broke the first week. It also does. Not work and I've tried it on two different tablets and smart phone.
Biggest Disappointment at Christmas All documentation read it was compatible with Android 4.3 and greater... This is a blatant lie. Opened it on Christmas morning, only to find it wasn't compatible with any of our Android devices (except my phone). This developer has let you down Crayola... The Crayola name is not what it used to be. Buyer beware!! My 7 year old son is extremely upset...
Junk Won't scan pages. Interface briefly flashed some recognition after maneuvering the camera at every conceivable angle for five minutes. (Nexus 6P, so horsepower ain't the issue.) So frustrating. Not going to buy any more pages for this worthless app, obviously. Save your money.
Why, Crayola? Major disappointment. When I colored in the characters and with much difficulty scanned them, their details came out like ugly smudges. I can draw really well, but after scanning the bear had dead, empty eyes and the fairy looked like a corpse. The built in characters are ok, but I wanted to bring my own, original drawings to life! 40 dollars wasted. Why would you do this, Crayola? Shameful.
