This sheet allows you to calculate globe valve's opening for liquid flow.
It can help you to verify the pressure drop of a globe valve for certain flow condition or to calculate unknown mass flow knowing valve's opening.

This sheet allows you to calculate the perfomance of a gas turbine (simple cycle).

Calculations are made under the assumption of air standard Brayton cycle.
*** HEAT EXCHANGER SIMULATOR ***
This sheet allows you to calculate outlet temperatures from existing shell&tube exchanger, if you know only inlet conditions of the fluids.
*** PRESSURE DROP ***
This sheet allows you to calculate pressure drop for liquids and gases along circular pipe.
Pressure loss in piping without any size changes occurs due to friction beetween the fluid and the pipe walls.
For incompressible flow, Darcy equation is used to calculate pressure drop along the pipe.
Another method is used for incompressible flow, infact, the flow of gases in long lines closely approximates isothermal conditions.

This sheet allows you to calculate the perfomance of a pump in terms of absorbed power and efficiency.

The BB4-BTC2 has 4 outputs that are capable of handling 3 amps each. Each output’s configuration is customizable. Output 1 and 2 are capable of being setup as maintained or momentary digital outputs. Output 3 and 4 are capable of being setup as digital output similar to outputs 1 and 2 but are also able to be used as PWM outputs with adjustable dither/frequency. The name of the BlackBox device as well as each name of the outputs can be changed to your liking. All of these settings are managed on the fly within the menu section of the BlackBox Control App.
