implementation of ranged units is quite frustrating. and the game isnt perfect with detecting charges. ranged units should be allowed to fire at engaged enemies if they can flank them. overall, I still keep playing this game because there is a lot to like. 4 stars because some genuine love and work went into this game as far as I can tell.

Great game, but a little too quick and easy. There's a short learning curve, but once mastered the game becomes simple to win consistently. My wish? More campaign options. I also found that the factions did not make sense behind a paywall, unless they included their own campaigns. I just didn't feel an urge to play outside my favorite faction. The factions are also not sufficiently differentiated. Anyway, liked the game, respect to the dev, hope to see updates

Looked everywhere for a tabletop war game that I could play solo, and this game fills that niche nicely. Random encounters are never anything cruel. They vary from optional fights, gambling for a buff, or a unit buy for a mount or monster. AND there's a generous number of starting heroes available for free-to-play players and unlockable units for added replayability. Overall, this is a war game focused on battles with easy-to-learn mechanics and flavorful abilities.
