The screen doubles as an editing interface, making this the easiest to edit clap-board app around. Just tap on the field you want to modify and the app responds. No hunting in the menus for most changes.
It is designed to work with tablets, however, there are several tablet sizes that have not yet been tested and optimized.
Film production has gone digital, so why should the old slate clapboard, or clapperboard, follow suit? It's still a time saving tool that makes post-production logging easier.
Enter scene and take number. Hold Digital Clapper in front of the cameras and make sure your audio recording device is capturing beeps. If the environment is too loud and your mic can't pick up beeps use jack cable from Digital Clapper and attach it directly to the camera or external sound recorder inputs. Press the big button with rotating arrow and the countdown will begin. Once in post production synchronizing captured sources on any edit platform (FCP, Avid, Premiere) is fairly straightforward. Simply trim audio and align "beep" to white flash at the end of countdown sequence and your are done. Now you have perfectly synched audio and video.

By selecting your camera, an aspect ratio and a list of lenses, Artemis allows you to compose shots with the same field of view as the camera/lenses you will be shooting with. You can then save images, complete with focal length, GPS data, compass heading, tilt and roll, date and time, camera/lens information, and much more. A great tool for any level of filmmaker, Artemis is perfect for location scouting, storyboarding, blocking, rehearsal and preproduction.
For lenses wider than the your devices camera's field of view, Artemis adds "padding" on the screen. While this is not ideal, it's our best solution for getting around the limitations of the camera in your device.
Artemis has been field tested with every camera in our database to make sure that the field of view is correct. No other multiformat director's viewfinder has as many camera specific formats or lens sets.
Please note that field of view is measured from the "nodal point", roughly mid way down the length of the lens, in keeping with the method used by lens manufacturers.

If you are connecting using Wi-Fi, virtually all 1ghz+ Android devices are supported (your camera needs Wi-Fi support, though). If you are connecting over USB, your device needs USB host support. Compatibility listed below is based on USB support. Most unlisted but recent devices will be compatible, but not all.
A more extensive and detailed list is available at our website ( http://dslrcontroller.com/ ) on the devices page. We always welcome information on devices that are not listed on our page.
For most devices you need a USB host ("OTG") cable, for some you need a special adapter. Not all devices are supported on all firmware versions. See the devices page on our web site for further details on both.

You can define any frame you want by simply entering the image capturing size and lens focal length. You build your own database of camera and lens.
Picture can be taken as seen from the selected frame and GPS coordinate can also be added to the exif data.
For lens wider than what the Android camera can support, padding is used to fill the gap.
If you are getting an "Invalid Camera Parameters" message, it means that the firmware of the camera is not providing valid metric for focal length and field of view. You can now manually enter those parameters through the application settings.

Terminal High-Altitude Area Defense
If you loved the arcade game Missile Command, then I hope you'll like THAAD. Protect your city from waves of enemy missiles dropping from the sky.
Tap on the screen ahead of incoming missiles and save your city. Shoot down the flashing satellites for bonuses.
There are two game modes to challenge you, Arcade and Survival.
Arcade mode is similar to the original game. Stop waves of faster, smarter missiles. Watch your ammo supply! You only have a limited amount to get through the game. How many levels can you complete?
Survival mode is one continuous wave of ever increasing missiles. Luckily you have an unlimited supply of ammo. Just pound away and get your frustration out. No matter how many missiles you fire, they enemy somehow sneaks through. How long do you think you can last?
Simple to get into, difficult to complete.
A mix of beautiful rendered graphics and hand drawn images.
OpenGl accelerated graphics. Beautiful musical score.
This is a free, ad supported game. If there is interest, I will release a paid for, non ad supported version as well.
Tap screen to toggle the menu bar display. This way the app is using the full screen to display the preview.
There is now an onscreen settings button in the upper right corner.
What is this app?
This app is designed for directors and DP's to block out and stage shots.
A director's viewfinder is a viewer used by film directors and cinematographers to frame a shot as seen through the camera lens. Like a traditional viewfinder, this app simulates various cameras, formats and lenses. This app also includes the tilt angle and direction you're pointing in.
In order to support lenses wider than your device can display, the preview is shrunk in relation to the size of the actual lens. You can use this to gauge the extents of the frame.
Currently this app supports lens sizes from 6mm to 200mm, most aspect ratio formats, and the following cameras:
Sony 2/3" chip cameras
Standard DV 1/3" chip cameras
Four Thirds system format
New in this version is the ability to add your own cameras and lenses. You can also edit the camera settings that ship with the app.
Never be without your viewfinder again!
Take pictures with overlays for safe frame and/ or safe title, rule of thirds, a 12 field chart and more.
You can snap a picture by pressing the onscreen camera icon. Because of the processing being done to the image, you must wait for the camera icon to be green before taking another picture.
Camera information will be added to the picture. Any overlays you have in the preview will also be added to the final picture. The background surrounding the picture is nearly white to make it easier and cheaper to print your photos.
All pictures are automatically added to the Photos app on your device.
My website is swamped with spam comments, making it impossible for me response to people's requests. I'm planning on building a new website soon.
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR INSTALLING ISSUES:
If there is a problem running this app after an upgrade, try uninstalling the app and reinstalling. This seems to fix most problems people have had with upgrading.
Thank you all for supporting me! Its been a long time since my last update and I realise that there were problems with the last version. I hope this version will make up for the last and become a tool you'll use often.
This is a high precision levelling tool with beautiful rendered graphics and smooth operation. It comes with several levelling modes for different tasks. The Inclinometer, Spirit level, and slope gauges are design for use with the device laying on its side. The bubble level is designed to measure levelness while laying on its back. It uses the hardware accelerometer and stream filtering to achieve an accuracy in the hundredths of a degree. Visit my website for more info.
