It is always a pain to roll onto a platform scale and write down each total weight and then pull off and calculate them. Well that just got simpler. Roll onto the scale with the first axle and enter in the steering slot. Then the drivers, or what ever the combination is. Do this for all axle groups and roll off. Hit the calculate button and presto, the number are there for you. Works in kgs or lbs, as it only represents the number you are working with at the scale. There are 9 configurations currently loaded, including Standard Tractor/Trailer, Tractor with B-Train/Super B-Train, Tractor/Trailer with lift axles (quad tractor and quad trailer etc), Tractor/Trailer with Jeep and Booster, Tractor with Doubles (A-Train/C-Train), and Tractor with Spread Axle Trailer, Tractor with lift axle and trailer, Tractor and trailer with lift axle, Truck Only. These are the most common configuration, but I am willing to add others if there is enough requests for that configuration.
You can also use the configuration with the same number of groups or even one less, and putting the same value as the previous axle in that blank spot.
For the Remember this Configuration setting, you must calculate the unit for it to save, and open in that configuration next time you open the app.
More from developer
The goal of the Haul Know application is to create a ready reference of trucking related information for Over The Road (OTR) drivers. We have designed the app to keep this information available even when you have no network connection available. We also provide frequent updates via the Play Store so you will have the latest information handy even in those places like the Bad Lands of Utah.
All our information is hand compiled from a team lead by an experienced driver (now Transportation Safety Consultant) with over 3,000,000 safe miles. We categorize this information by state and format that information similarly across all states. Included in this information are such things as idling laws, chain laws, low bridges, overweight fines and scale locations along with as much contact information as we can muster.
We ask drivers to send us emails about their experiences driving in the various states, select emails will be included in the frequent application updates you will be seeing. We even have a News section where our team will be posting comments along with select polite and professional comments from our users about anything OTR related.

Look forward to us supporting the French and Spanish languages soon.
