The Time Trekkers App includes 4 fun games that measure cognitive processes, including attention or social and emotional processing in school-age children. These games have been developed as a part of a larger project run by researchers at King's College London.
When playing children get to explore different "eras" around the globe in a time machine. They are guided by Theo, the main character featuring in the app, who introduces children to those "eras" and explains the rules of the games to them.
When using the app, the child can choose to play the games by themselves or with their parent. The aim of the app is to create a profile of (relative) strengths and difficulties for each child.
