About this game

The Darkest Tower Defense is an independent strategy game whose objective is to prevent the horde of the Soulless from reaching the Sainte Arche, the last bastion of humanity.

For this, you must build defenses and position your troops on strategic locations in order to defend the paths of Terre-Croix. However your resources are limited and you will have to adapt your strategy according to the levels.

Earn runes and spend them in a skill tree to expand your defense arsenal. Will you choose the path of Shadow or Light?

You will not have to face only minor demons, demonic bosses with infernal capacities will come to foil your plans and only your heroes will allow you to turn the tide of the battle!

Interesting for sure. It's difficult and fun. Graphics leave a little to be desired. Just started so I don't know if there's a pay to advance barrier yet.

Thank you for your feedback, you do not need to pay to finish the game even in nightmare mode, the paid items are purely cosmetic. There are also several possible paths to complete the levels, but ye, it's a difficult game :).

Nice game for hardcore gamers. Boss levels are super hard to beat, and you have to rebuild your whole skill tree to have a chance to win. I understand the game is designed for hardcore players, but it would be nice if it was possible to simply make progress without having to spend too long in each boss.

Thank you for the constructive feedback. Indeed, we have designed the game to be hardcore but the next patch will flatten a bit the learning curve (more gold when selling towers, chests, ...). (However, i can tell you than nearly every skills trees can complete the normal mode ;) with a good placement of towers)

Needs work for difficulty, Grinding is not fun and although it's necessary early game is ridiculous to the point of insanity. A game that does not hold your hand is not just hard but has mini victorys and I can only say anxiety inducing. This is a niche community so take the 5 stars with a grain of salt be prepared for an "experience" of mostly regret and pain. (Also I understood all the towers and I've been on level 3 for about 20 trys) maybe I just suck

We are sorry that you didn't like the game, it's indeed difficult but i can assure you it's faisable. If i may give you some advices : Did you check the codex to see the vulnerabilities of the monsters and did you use your runes to upgrade your towers? Also a patch is coming in the next days making archers more efficient against air units.
