I owned all these as a child and loved them but lost them all at some point. I was aware of Project Aon but this app makes reading the books easier and more like having the print in front of you. Thank you for creating this. Its been one of the few free apps I couldn't wait to support with a monetary donation. Keep up the good work!
More entertaining than lots of those tap-, drag-, collect and other want-to-be-RPGs. Once you downloaded the databases containing the textbooks, images and maps, you roll your characters stats and dive into an adventerous story. You take decisions, fight enemies, collect stuff and roll on random incidents and encounters. If you enjoy being the hero in well outlined fantasy stories, this gamebook series really earns your attention..
Quite liked it actually. Except every time you die you have to restart the book. And you are likely to die a lot. So yes, it can get really tedious at times.
Kai Chronicles is WAY better, as far as gameplay. This one ensures you die constantly, having to restart constantly. It's not a good story when the dev thinks it's cute to kill you 10 times in a row, when the exact same choices in Kai Chronicles don't result in deaths.
