Game Coaster has served me well with Dungeon Maker for ten years. They have only gotten money from me three times: DM+DLC, and now. For all the effort they put into one of my most beloved games, I am fine with paying the price for an early access game. I know they will meet my expectations. And if not? Oh well. But I doubt that to be the case. The game—however rough it is around some edges—is already fun to me. It can only go up from here.

It isn't fully released and already feels like it has excellent bones. Tons of progression and a wealth of options as of the latest update, with a lot of ways to tweak difficulty. However, the biggest problem as others have mentioned is poorly described items/tooltips, a lack of descriptions on some things entirely, and no ways to double check anything during combat.

This game didn't click at first. It's basically a simplified version of one of their previous games, Dungeon Maker. Then I figured out what the Ark of Memory actually does. Once I started messing with that, this turned into a game where you plan several runs ahead of where you actually are, and the progression feels much smoother.
