Really HBO? It's embarrassing that a network with so many assets cannot develop a functioning streaming platform. I have to constantly uninstall and reinstall this app on my Nvidia shield and Android phone, just to make it work. Even then, the streams will just disconnect for no reason, and I have to uninstall again. HBO GO is the only premium channel app that I have issues with.
Very frustrating and disappointing App constantly crashes and freezes up when I try to use it. Every. Single. Time. Almost never saves the correct place I was at, thus rendering the "continue watching" option pointless. It's sad that this is all that a big name like HBO can come up with. Come on guys, get your act together! You definitely get paid more than enough for it!
Errors I have to enter my username and password between every episode. Also, the app frequently won't even play at all and tells me to try later. Lastly, and I see a ton of people asking y'all for this, make it easier to find earlier and later episodes of a show we're watching.
App is frustrating The app takes almost 5 whole minutes just to load. It also never remembers my providers login info when there is a clear option to remember it in order to seamlessly watch HBO shows on it. It is quite a hassle to watch any of my shows on here and the app is set up terribly. It also has a very unusual and ugly font style for its captions which get in the way. I do not recommend this app at all. The only place HBO works is its actual website.
The new UI is crappy and doesn't stay logged in The new UI is terrible. Takes forever for the pictures of the movies to show up. Navigation isn't great either. Instantly plays movie instead of showing the information of the movie. The old UI was better. Plus every time I turn around I have to log into this thing. Very annoyed!
consistently dropping I thought my network was bad, but when in realized there connection fails on any network I have, I knew this app needs work. it seems it would rather kick you out than buffer. something on Samsung TVs. not sure if this is a problem on Android
