App is horrible. Never seems to cast on google chromecast without some sort of delay or error. Have to force close ever time in order to get it to work again. Slow and buggy. Needs alot of improvements which is sad given that HBO should provide the most premium quality of all streaming apps.
I used to love thus app, but on my way to work today I got logged out. Now, when I try to log back in with my Comcast ID, it just keeps going in circles and won't let me watch a show. I only have HBO so I can watch it during my commute. If this problem persists, I'm cancelling my subscription.
I have not been able to log in for many weeks now and tried with multiple devices. This app is a service that is provided for being an hbo customer. I pay for this service and If i cant get my full moneys worth why keep Hbo. The answer is...Im not. Time to get rid of hbo on principal.
👍Good app w/tons of great content...close, but no cigar. Just short of being a 5 stars app, yet easily remedied with a few improvements. 1st, would be a much needed 'Favorite Shows' section to go alongside Watchlist, as Watchlist functionality is limited. It doesn't remove content once watched & a quicker route to 'my' shows would be helpful. 2nd, w/all my other apps, when casting, I can control TV volume(thru Chromecast) by my phone volume buttons. Unfortunately this is the only app that doesn't have such functionality. One must turn phone screen back on and pull up bottom bar on the app to make changes to vol. 3rd, lag! Going between any given page/s within app is tedious, as loading is sooo slow, especially compared to other apps in this class. W/improvements such as these^^ implemented, this WOULD BE, easily a 5 star app!👌
I never know if my click has been received by the app. Change the pressed color state. At least it doesn't crash on launch anymore
Content works fine, but the ui is absolute garbage. Not at all intuitive or easy, doesn't even make sense once you've figured it out.
