Fantastic! I tried to use it on my S7 Edge but it wasn't compatible with the new Android v7 (Nougat). I opened up a ticket to the help desk and they were great in replying to my emails quickly. The update had a glitch and they fixed it to make it available for download. I am all set and streaming and using the 10 second skip with no problem. Love the interface and accessibility to all HBO content.
The app is absolutely terrible. It runs slow, is extremely buggy, and seems to be becoming less and less usable. It'd also be nice if I didn't have to log in every time I want to watch something. And I dislike the forced landscape perspective when browsing. And when browsing alphabetically, why does the letter stay on screen? The content, however is still top notch, and in very high quality.
Absolutely horrible app. Doesn't track show progress and is buggy beyond belief. Does not allow to skip forward or backward and it's search option fails often. Embarrassing for a premium channel costing $15+ a month. Fix your app HBO. You should be embarrassed!
I love this app. It's easy to use and has so many great shows and movies to watch. But it suits playing constantly. Not buffering or loading, it just stops. Very frustrating because after I finally manage to get it to play, it stops again after only a few seconds.
Used to work great. Where is the money going? Netflix and Hulu have great apps, AND THEY ARE CHEAPER THAN HBO!!!! This is embarrassing. HBO works much better on Xbox or PS4, which means that it's this mobile app that's the problem. You must outsource your app development to some Chinese sweatshop. Get it together, HBO, you suck!
The UI is terrible. If there was a better way to watch the next episode, or resume watching a series when entering the app again, then it would get 4 stars. Completely cumbersome when every other app out there has it figured out. See Netflix and copy.
