Good but to glitch. The app itself is good. It has a lot of good movies and TV shows. However it will suddenly stop and try to buffer for no reason. It claimed the internet is not connected or that there was an error. Once it kicks you back to the selection screen though you can hit play immediately and it will work. Fix this glitch and it would be a great app.
3 updates and still doesn't work Stop telling people to email you, you guys know the app doesn't work. Did AT&T get a hold of your build team? They seem to ruin everything they touch and the same can be said about this update. Force closes anytime you try to watch any shows. Previous version worked great, how about you go back to that build.
App used to work well Latest update made some changes to the interface of the app and it's very slow and buggy. Otherwise i still like it and use it. Just needs stability issues and loading time fixed. Im using a GS7 on wifi w/ 14.3 mbps down and 15.4 mbps up and never had issues b4 the update
HBO needs to look at the Netflix app to see how an app like this should work. This app is so awkward. Everytime a show episode is over you have to do a new search to get the next one. Sometimes the bar that lets you fast forward or pause shows up, sometimes it doesn't.
Will not load on Galaxy S7 Edge I contacted HBO support 3 weeks ago regarding the issue of the load screen freezing and got a response that their development team is looking into the issue. I'm sorry but the earlier version of this app worked fantastic on my phone. How long does it take to repair an app that does not work on Samsung's flagship phone. (Edit, apparently HBO support does not read the negative reviews before suggesting to contact them. )
Great content horrible execution On the UX side of things, I wish it would remember what I was watching last. Hate having to go through and find my series each time. Constantly fighting disconnects, choppy playback, and occasionally dropped screens when viewing on my Chromecast. Never have issues with other streaming media. Please fix!
Ruined a great app. I'm an hbo customer through dish and have always been satisfied with this app until the recent update that changed the ui. Now every time I try to start any programs it immediately crashes on my phone. Has been this way for at least two weeks now. Fix it and make it work properly again and I will rate it 5 stars for sure. It wasn't broken before but now it is. So you basically have taken something great and turned it into garbage.
