I'm using Sony Z5 premium (android 6.0.1) and Nikon D7200 I had some trouble connecting to the camera but after changing the name of the camera WiFi and changing the ip-adress using Nikons own application I uninstalled the Nikon app and helicon connected just fine. After very limited use of the free version I think I'll buy the whole program when I have money again. But it would be great if I didn't have to remove the Nikon app or if I didn't need it to control the WiFi settings on the camera.
Difficult to completely close the app. Update: most apps do not need to be closed from within the app. I should be able to close it from the recent apps screen. Currently that still leaves an annoying notification behind (even if a camera isn't connected). I then have to reopen the app, and remember where it keeps the quit option.
Want to love it but for what I want it to do it isn't working. Maybe the bug report will help get it solved. Entire reason I was considering this was to do 12, 1 stop difference exposure bracketing for the upcoming eclipse. Just fails after the first shot over and over with my D800. I get that it is an older camera in some regards but it is usb3. I am using a Galaxy S8 for the connection. Overall many aspects very delayed.
Best app I've tried but gps data don't save when images saved to camera. Record button hangs app also. Can you add a live exposure meter
After going through five or six different apps I wasn't expecting too much but ha ha it works just fine on my 1200d and budget tablet am most greatful well done helicon I can now get the macro shots I want without getting on mi belly to see the screen.the only problem is that it absolutely mullers the camera's battery i read that you thought that the battery was at the end of it's life so ordered 2 new Canon batteries and it still mullers them any ideas???
The app is not finding my T5 which is in the list of compatible devices. Even switched OTG and still does not work. It recognizes that something is plugged in to my phone because it activates the app, but does nothing else.
White balance color temperature setting fixed for all new Nikon cameras (D800/D810, D4, D7200 etc.)
