You may think that slavery is a thing of the past but it is not. In the heart of Mali, a remarkable collaborative project unfolded, uniting villagers, developers, and artists from across Africa. They embarked on a game design journey, where their collective wisdom and experiences intertwined to co-create captivating game concepts. Driven by the team's research, fifty skilled developers from seven African countries joined forces within a bustling workshop with an adept Africa-based technical and artistic team. Together, they delved into the realms of imagination, fueled by the vibrant voices of the community. As the project progressed one concept stood out — a visionary anti-slavery Afro-futurist game, aiming to shed light on the issue of slavery through a futuristic lens.
