2010 called, they want their app back. MaxGo isn't just a bad, it's laughably bad. Every other premium cable service have a dedicated app that is regularly upgraded, with the ability to Chromecast. Every other premium cable service have apps that can go on Amazon Fire TV, Smart TVs, Apple TV or Roku. Nope, not here... you're forced to just use your phone or tablet. I'm a paid subscriber and if Cinemax can't get their act together and provide its subscribers with a decent app, I'm going to cancel.
Works good This app works pretty good and is easy to use. The bad things are that it takes a long time to open and load the app also most times it doesn't resume where you left off if you stop before finishing the movie. It usually will restart at the beginning which kinda sucks if you don't remember where you left off. I also don't like that it has no rewind or fast-forward buttons.
Cinemax: Where Movies Go To Die. There are plenty of good movies on cinemax that I want to watch. But I never will, because there is no chromecast support. I'm not going to watch a 2 hour movie on a 5 inch screen. It can't be that hard to add chromecast support. Do you not want people to use your app?
I shake my head at you cinemax Cinemax needs to get with the times and support Chromecast and have an app on streaming devices. There are quite a few movies I would love to watch on here, but I don't want to be limited to watching it on a smaller screen. And right now I currently cant see the other movies, only the featured ones. I know you have more movies cinemax! They need to get get their act together
One of the worst of its kind. On most devices you can't choose a movie beyond the featured list. When you can you can't link it to any streaming device.. So with a NEW PHONE only you can use this app. I will be doing everything possible to make sure they never get my money.
Sucks just like HBOGO. They outsource their Internet interface to a third party non-development team obviously. I read they are not in the business of streaming content. 20th century haw whatever! Funny thing is that I was once able to log on consistently! Now....F%*$k that!
