2010 called, they want their app back. MaxGo isn't just a bad, it's laughably bad. Every other premium cable service have a dedicated app that is regularly upgraded, with the ability to Chromecast. Every other premium cable service have apps that can go on Amazon Fire TV, Smart TVs, Apple TV or Roku. Nope, not here... you're forced to just use your phone or tablet. I'm a paid subscriber and if Cinemax can't get their act together and provide its subscribers with a decent app, I'm going to cancel.
Disappointing Great movie choices. To bad theres no Chromecast streaming to my TV. Ugh get with it Cinemax!! Every other pay station such as HBO, Stars, Netflix etc all have Chromecast streaming for the TV on their apps! Very disappointing!! Theres no point in streaming to my phone!
Can't view all the content Something's wrong with the way the app displays the tabs and options. This results in only being able to watch the featured films. There doesn't seem to be any way to browse through their catalog of movies and series.
No Chromecast = worthless app Without chromecast this app is absolutely worthless. It traffles me how almost every online video is chromecast compatible but for some stupid reason Cinemax is ! Its also why Im 3 seasons behind in Banshee and havent watched a single movie they have in over a year. Thank God I have HBO, Starz, & Showtime hromecast to give dme my entertainment fix.
I don't understand The app opens in portrait mode only, there is no Chromecast support, it's touchy so it's hard to scroll without continually selecting movies by mistake while I'm just trying to see what's available... come on guys, you can do better than this.
Great shows but... Without the ability to use Chromecast this app is mostly useless to me. I'll come back with five stars when they get with the times.
