About this app

PowerMic Mobile requires a configuration URL specific to each customer organization. Please check with your organization’s support team or your reseller for assistance with setup.

PowerMic Mobile turns your smartphone into a secure wireless microphone for use with Windows-based desktop clinical speech recognition solutions. Optimized for use with Dragon Medical One and Dragon Medical Direct. PowerMic Mobile gives clinicians the freedom to roam from workstation-to-workstation, room-to-room, and location-to-location to complete clinical documentation using their smartphone as a wireless microphone at the desktop.

PowerMic Mobile enhances clinician productivity and convenience with support for virtualized EHR deployments, user programmable buttons, and 256-bit encryption with end-to-end security over WiFi or cellular networks. Clinicians can now opt to use PowerMic Mobile as a complimentary input device, or as an alternative, to the PowerMic II/III or other supported handheld or headset microphone.

This app just keeps getting worse. It will only dictate one or two words out of a sentence and even those two words are not correct. The cursor will frequently bounce around the document randomly. This app is essentially unusable. I have not been able to use this app for over a year. Waiting for some kind of update.

It used to work beautifully. Then I got a new phone and now it just crashes during the set up process and no longer works at all. My company can't get it to work because it isn't on our end. It's when you click the set up link that the program crashes. So now completely unusable and I can't dictate unless I carry a USB mic with me at all times.

This app used to work fine for me on One UI 4.1 however I just installed the new One UI 5 upgrade and now I am not able to dictate properly. The app connects to the computer but when I begin to speak into the mic the dictation does not start. I made sure that my mic works as intended. I am certain that the One UI upgrade is the cause as this issue did not occur with previous installments. I think this app is due for another update because now I cannot use it and it is frustrating.
