About this app
MyPROM is the first app for evaluating patient satisfaction and patient activity after joint replacement surgery.
It represents a new type of survey of the individual patient satisfaction (Patient Reported Outcome Measure = PROM), which has so far been collected using paper questionnaires with low response rates. Future patient care can be improved through deeper research into PROMs.
HOW IT WORKS
- The state of health and activity can be documented by filling out questionnaires at freely chosen times
- By answering questionnaires, bonus points can be collected for the games Candy Match-3 and Sudoku integrated in the app
- In the games, the participants can compete against each other
- The activity can also be recorded using the smartphone's pedometer

The project "Evaluation of the success of prosthesis operations on patient satisfaction and patient activity" funded by the Authority for Health and Consumer Protection of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg is a cooperation between the Institute for Biomechanics at the Technical University of Hamburg (TUHH), the Schön Klinik Hamburg Eilbek and the startup PatientZeroGames GmbH.
