About this game

Window seat or aisle? Booth or table? Lone wolf or life of the party? In Is This Seat Taken?, your mission is to organize groups of people according to their preferences. It’s a cozy, no-pressure logic puzzle game where you’re in charge of who sits where.

Whether it’s the cinema, a crowded bus, a wedding reception, or a cramped taxi cab, every setting introduces new characters with specific tastes. A party guest with a sensitive nose won’t be happy sitting next to a stranger who’s wearing too much cologne. A sleepy passenger won’t be happy trying to nap on the bus next to someone listening to loud music. It’s all about reading the room to find the perfect placement!

Ratings and reviews

I play a lot of logic puzzle games and this game is definitely one of my faves now. I loved the visuals and interactive-ness of the puzzles. I completed all the content in less than a day but it was still worth every penny. My one suggestion would be to add a button to remove all people from the current map. I hit restart level thinking it would reset everyone not realizing if the map has multiple phases you had to start back at square one.

Good concept, but it has several flaws. First, for a paid game, it’s quite short—it should be free. Second, moving the little guys can be annoying at times; space is really tight, so picking up and dropping them in the right spot can be frustrating. Last but not least, it’s extremely repetitive—you’ll find yourself doing the same thing over and over again.

very fun game just sad at how little content there was for $10 took me 2 days of limited playing to finish the game entirely. the controls could use a little work as I kept accidentally opening and closing seat while trying to place shapes as well as not reslly being able to see where I was putting things since there are small hitboxes on the seats themselves overall great fun and engaging game
