Don't know how I lived without it I was using an Xbox 360 controller as a means of controlling my media pc. The app I got off steam was good, had minimal text input abilities and was stable. Unified has enhanced my control ability by leaps and bounds since then. The limitations I had when using a controller are a thing of the past, unified can control any app whether that app is fullscreen or not. Not to mention I have access to my phone's keyboard when typing which has made searching and browsing for media much more intuitive.. Awesome.
Very Good App Really does the job. But there can be improvements in many places, like auto refreshing in Task Manager remote after killing an application. As of now you need to close the remote and open it again to see it actually killed. Like those many little changes can be done. Love the app tho
Stable as anything, just not that pretty. Amazing app for pc control, has all the necessary functions whether you're using it for PowerPoint or VLC. App also contains widgets for control from the homepage. However, if you wanted to go nuts with your media centre pc, you can even program nfc triggers for the functions. How incredible is that?
A Most Useful Application This application has made life much easier by allowing me to commit even further to my laziness. I have a really hard time gaining weight, but this application has opened up the door to myself becoming a potato. I am now able sit back and control my desktop from my recliner, making web browsing and reading various books an even more relaxing activity. The extensive functionality also allows me to have excellent control over my machine when it is in media center mode for movie viewing and parties.
Great app, but.. Does everything you could want in a remote control for your PC.. except the one thing I bought it for, skipping to the next track on sound cloud. Both the fast forward and next buttons simply skip ahead in the track, when what I want is to skip to the next track entirely.. will be getting a refund most likely.
Need WiFi-linked Rem.Cont. WITHOUT Intrrnet Encrypt ALL Connections, by default? Make Android rem. Keyboards work like device's own: Show Upper+Lower char's? Next, I'm away fr office's fast I'net conn., & I need Unif'd Rem to work here+ now: Offline Android device Rem.Cont. of Win 7 PC via WiFi. How (or When will it to be pos.) to do this, w/OUT Internet? (Also, can an Android device control another Android device, eg: HP's 21.5" AIO desktop Android All-In-One computer?) Tack! New test: Samsung GT-N5120 vs ASUS Netbook (Win7 Starter): Huge # of Remotes is IMPRESSIVE. PS Not all Windows PC's have Bluetooth. If OffLine WiFi doesn't work now ('dunno why is shouldn't), When?
