SD Maid is a powerful tool. USE AT OWN RISK!
Nobody is perfect and android neither.
Apps you have already deleted sometimes leave data behind.
The system constantly creates logs, crash reports and debug files you don't really need.
The market leaves temporary files of downloaded apps behind.
Lets not go on here...
Why not get a maid to clean it all up?
SD maid will help you keep your device neat, clean and tidy for you :)!
Please see SD Maid - System Cleaner for further information!
If it doesn't seem to work, try closing SD Maid through 'exit' and reopening it.
In any case you can just mail me and I will help you.
Due to the vast amount of android devices it might not work perfectly on everyones device, but I'm working hard to get it there.
If you have problems on your device contact me (firstname.lastname@example.org) and I will try to fix your problem in the next version.
If your gallery does not update automatically then use this app to update it in just one click. This app scans your media and enters them in database. It also updates your thumbnails.

Currently this app is out of maintenance. If your WIFI ISP is using standard WISPr, this app is still applicable. However, if you encounter any issues or problems, we do not provide supports any more. That's because Taiwan's or other WIFI ISPs have their different policies, we cannot handle everything for free.
Thanks for testing support from these users: da bendan, Rudy Huang
You can setup multiple Wi-Fi connectivity rules for different SSID. When your Wi-Fi is ON and connected, by match the name or substring of your service configuration, 1st Whisper can automatically login to the Wi-Fi service provider with your username/password. It makes you easily surf the web and internet without suffer from tedious WEB authentication process.
Warning: You should have the username/password to access the Wi-Fi service. This program is a simple WISPr client implementation. The username format in WISPr might be different than you key-in to the Web authentication. Contact your Wi-Fi provider for detail information.
WIRELESS login solution (using the user name format below, password is not changed, "username" is your login account)
* CHT Wi-Fi - emome user: email@example.com; Hinet User: firstname.lastname@example.org
* WiFly for WirelessGate user - Try aicent/wig/username or username@wig@aicent
* WiFly for Trustive user - Try trustive/username2011
For Taiwan Users: Following Wi-Fi services have WISPr compatible login services
1. CHT Wi-Fi (hinet): Compatible, tested (since 1.0 release)
2. iTaiwan: Compatible, tested (since 1.2 release)
3. TPE-Free: Compatible, tested (since 1.2 release)
4. NewTaipei: Compatible, not tested yet
5. 7wifi: Capable, not tested yet
6. Wifly: Capable, not tested yet
Others are unknown or NO WISPr compatible
To automatically login to CHT Wi-Fi service, please set the service SSID to "cht wi-fi" (case insensitive is OK, unless you have checked case sensitive option). If you are emome user, please use the form email@example.com as the username; if you are hinet user, please use firstname.lastname@example.org as the username. The password is the same one you have.
How to Configure:
1. Press "Add Service" button to add a new item
2. Service name: enter a friendly name to easily recognize for you
3. SSID: full string or substring of Wi-Fi provider SSID.
=> example 1: "cht wi-fi" can match with "CHT Wi-Fi" or "CHT Wi-Fi (hinet)"
=> example 2: "Wifly" can match with "WIFLY", "WIFLY Starbucks", "WIFLY MOS"
4. Fully match: Wi-Fi AP SSID must exactly match your setting in above
5. Case sensitive: Wi-Fi AP SSID must be compared in case sensitive mode
6. Username: Your user account name. (Please add "@emome.net" if your account is CHT emome; add "@hinet.net" if your account is CHT hinet)
7. Password: The accound password

Limitation for FREE version:
1. Cannot temporarily disable schedule
2. Only 3 schedules are available
Special note: The LCD brightness won't be immediately applied to bother you when the schedule goes off and you are using the phone or other applications are in the foreground. The brightness level change is applied during any LCD power mode change, such as LCD dims, locked, or unlocked, or wake up.
It is an simple and easy to use utility for adjusting your GPRS/3G connectivity and set Wifi sleep policy. This helps you to save battery power. Also it can turn on mobile data link for a while every certain period to receive and update information.
This is a small utility (<100KB) compare to other many battery power saving utilities, which contain complex features, graphics, and animation to consume more battery power. Even you paid for it, but it is still using Google Analytics to track you down and consume your 3G/Wifi data connection.
This utility is just like a setting menu, and using alarm to turn on/off your mobile data link only. There is a widget you can switch on/off when you temporary won't the mobile data link be shutdown.
No extra activities and complex computation power needed. (Of course, the FREE version is AdWare).
The PRO version will be rolled out soon. It won't contain any AD or Google Analytics features as well. The PRO version will have some features
1. Don't disconnect mobile data link while tethering
2. Disconnect mobile data link when Wifi is available
2. Has more mobile data switch on/off duration, period
3. Has schedule modes. You can schedule mobile data/wifi sleep mode

Your mobile devices may have light sensors and can automatically change your LCD brightness according to the ambient light level. However, the automatic setting can not be toggled to disable. With some buggy algorithm, the LCD brightness could change the backlight level quickly and causes the screen flicker, which could make you feel uncomfortable to read your mobile LCD/screen.
With this App, you could disable the auto light sensor, such that you could disable the automatic LCD brightness adjustment to prevent the screen flicker.
After disengage the auto light sensor, your LCD screen will be brighter than normal. You can install the App as follows to apply any LCD brightness level as you want quickly.
Please evaluate its full functionality in FREE version Adjust SD Speed here, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.RombieSoft.adj_sd_speed. Adjust and Boost Your SD Buffered Read/Write Throughput Performance.
**REQUIREMENT** Rooted Phone and Root Privilege are Required Because This App Need to Change the Kernel Parameter of Your System.
1. read_ahead_kb: depends on your applications and memory size (512KB ~ 4096KB)
2. scheduler: deadline
3. fifo_batch: 1
4: nr_requests: depends on your memory size. may > 128
This app can adjust the SD card parameter "read_ahead_kb" in your Android Linux kernel setting. By setting the attribute, your mobile device and SD card read/write might gain better performance. The buffered read performance is highly correlated with running Apps on SD, browsing photo albums, etc. The write performance is not directly controlled by this attribute. By enlarging read buffer with reducing read action to SD, write command can be done more quickly and efficiently without being interrupted by multiple separate SD read command. On the mobile device equipped with less memory space, it's recommended not to set the buffer size larger than 1024KB. The larger buffer size is good but it might affect the available memory space used by other buffers and normal Apps. It could result in bad performance due to Android needs to kill inactive Apps and recovery memory frequently.
Also, you can set the App option to automatically enlarge the default system buffer on EVERY boot.
This app also has built-in performance testing feature. This does not actually reflect the real RAW SD read/write speed, but highly relative to your normal phone and Android usage because Linux OS has system buffer for file IO.
**NOTE** Android is multi-tasking OS and Java-like VM. Due to lack of REAL-TIME operation (and impossible to lock your phone to do real time jobs), the performance testing results might be affected by many factors, such as background tasks, App managers, Dalvik VM garbage collections, Android System and Google Services, and etc. If the testing result looks not accurate, please quit/kill some applications running in the background or accessing to SD, and perform multiple run to see the best one.
