FINALLY!!! This world has been denied Android based Acey Duecy for far too long. I travel often and I now have a game besides Freecell that I can play for hours on long flights. I'll also be posting this link on my Facebook and my Website. The game does everything it needs to. The rules are correct, the graphics are good, and the control is intuitive. Thank You!
I love this game!!! I have been playing this game, on an average, 3 or 4 times a day, for a month now. I haven't play a game yet that I thought the computer was cheating. I have won some games with some amazing rolls, moves and luck. The computer has done the same. The win /lost ratio is about 50/50 for me. It is really about making the most out of your rolls and having a little luck.
Great game. I love the fact you can drag and move your own pieces like an actual board game. It also has option to play with an actual human which at first you may be unaware since no title page with options. You have to tap new game for it to display, duh.
Acey duecy I love the game but computer cheats too much. Red only gets one dice credit only can move where he wants you to go it could be little more even...human can't protect self computer takes over game. Very aggravating thank you Terri DeLong
Mildly Disappointed Spent 23 years in the Navy and enjoyed playing Acey Deuces so when I found this game I was excited. I can beat the computer most of the time but that is because the computer makes illogical moves or seems to move without strategies. The ap needs a better random algorithm for the dice because the computer does get better dice rolls most of the time, more doubles and much more high non-doubles; when I get 1-3 combination six times in a row I know something is not right. Also the removal of the pieces phase needs to give the choice of removing a piece or moving a piece instead of must remove pieces on the di number position.
Ok, but needs work Props for getting the first Acey-Duecy backgammon game onto Google Play! It is a good first start. There are some rules issues that are of concern. It would be nice to be able to have rules options. First, I learned to play that one could not move out of the inner board (aka home board) until all stones are out of the storage area. This game allows movements anywhere on the board before all stones are out. The premature movement out of the home board radically alters the strategy. It may be alright, but seems improper to me. Another option is the acey-duecey roll. The game gives a second roll after acey-duecy moves are played, essentially skipping a turn for the opponent. This seems an inequitable advantage. Another rule of concern is the ability to move any number back to the safe area. For instance I rolled a 6 and was able to move a 4 into the safe area. While proper in regular backgammon, the limitation to move off the board with a precise role makes acey-ducey a more competitive and thus a more challenging game. Finally, other backgammon games allows one to change the board background. While not affecting play, it is a fun option.
