It's a great app and I've paid for the Pro upgrade, but the automatic update feature has been buggy for over a year. Ive had it set to update at 8am every day. Simple, right? Nope! It updates the SERP whenever it pleases during a 12 period after midnight. Sometimes it forgets to. And yes, I've whitelisted the app with Doze or whatever Samsung has renamed and repurposed the feature.

Good app. It could benefit from more detailed information around SERP results for keywords. For instance, showing a list of the Top 10 SERP listings highlighting where your site is located amongst them. This would be a great snapshot of where the competition ranks.... Could use more functionality. Not as good as IOS apps like SEO Edge unforunately

Frustrating new prompt This app was OK till recently when it keeps prompting to switch the battery saving off so that it can update the rankings in the background. It is utterly frustrating and did not have the option for me, the user, to want background update on/off. I am more concerned about my power consumption than having to the second updated rankings. Rankings get updated anyway only about once a week or fortnight if you read the Google documentation carefully. This background update should be an option and not annoying.

After the last app update, the rankings update every time I start my phone...even though I have that option turned off. I want it to check rankings ONLY when I start the process myself. I even tried selecting the automatic update feature with a time of 2 PM, but it still updates every morning when I turn my phone on. If this is fixed, I will give it more stars.

Love this app I had written this with a one star review....the. I read the FAQ and found out I was being stupid .... "I can't sync between devices? I'm about to lose a years worth of data cause my phone broke. At least allow a backup and restore to a cloud service like Gmail or even the phone!"

Almost Perfect! I love this app but would love to be able to highlight certain keywords so I can track campaigns as they are worked on. Just a star next to the important ones. Secondly I'd love it to tell you how many backlinks it has found like seo edge does but I appreciate that may not be possible with this app. Thank you

The prompt is there only if you purchased the PRO features. On Android 6+ in order to update rankings in the background, you need to whitelist the app in Doze (battery optimization). Without that, the app cannot run in the background (what you paid for). The app won't drain you battery, and you can always revert this setting manually. After the last app update, the rankings update every time I start my phone...even though I have that option turned off. I want it to check rankings ONLY when I start the process myself. Sinds de overstap op Android 6 checkt de app 1 keyword en blijft dan hangen. Opnieuw opstarten geeft nog een keyword. En ga zo maar door.. Edit 5-5-17: Yes i did. When i said restart i meant closing down the app. When you simply put in on standby and open it again, nothing happens.

Then the only thing that i can think of is that you have a 3rd party app that is blocking our background service (which runs while the app is open, even if you don't have the PRO features enabled) Great not perfect yet... Bing and yahoo not accurate -2 star for using 2gb of data to download numerical data. Are tracking on me or what? Edit -1 star. So this app uses the app to visit the site. Why don't you use your own server?

Because that's our business model. The rankings are updated on the user's device, which improves the accuracy for said user. Awesome Just cancelled a monthly subscription service as this app does everything I need. Very accurate data and exporting to csv is very handy. Can't recommend enough!
Good application but .. Good app but I think I will have to uninstall the app because of 2 needed missed features, #1 let us to approve or disapprove the feature of "start on boot", really it is very bad feature, imagine that the application works and update the ranking while I disable the daily auto update, #2 give us an option to disable the automatically updating of the ranking after opening the application, sometimes I need to know the latest position without update

Start on boot only starts the background service (only for PRO users, doesn't start the actual app), but doesn't start the background updating if the feature is turned off. The update is still triggered when you manually open the app. It was ok till recently. After the last app update it does NOT check rankings in the background. I have a PRO version and I have already put the app on the whitelist when it comes to battery optimization. The app is now unusable for me (1 star) - please, repair it, and I will change my rating.
Sucks I am wasting 2 minutes of my life for the goodness of men - warning: this app sucks. Didn't work as promised. It tracked my SERP only on the first day and stopped working.

Hello, If you haven't purchased the PRO feature you have to actually open the app every day and let it update in order to get fresh rankings. Also, an internet connection is required when rank updating happens. Great app. Would give five stars if it stopped nagging for background permissions every single time the app is opened. It works fine without.

It only works when you open the app. The background updating can't happen if battery optimization settings prevent it. We'll add a setting to turn off that notification in a future update. This is the only app I use (out of 30+) that always fails to update due to insufficient storage available error. Every time. Even Google maps and FB that are massive apps update fine so I know it's not my phone..... in reply to your query - its the app itself. I never have any issues with other apps. When I try to update it from the play store I get the "insufficient storage" option. The only thing I can do (and I have tried rebooting) is to export/backup my settings, uninstall the app, reinstall the app, import my settings. It happens at every single update. --- if it not the app then how come.... 1) It happens with no other app install or update at all 2) If I uninstall serpmojo and reinstall it it installs fine 3) the next time there is an update to serpmojo the same thing happens all over again 4) in the meantime I have updated weekly all my apps (over 30 others - of which 3 or 4 per week are updated) and they never cause this issue. It is only ever serpmojo that exhibits this behaviour. It must be something to do with the serpmojo app that is "exposing" the well documented issue with Android. I'm not blaming you or the app (as it is an issue with Android)

Are you by any chance using a custom ROM? or perhaps are using an older buggy version of Android Play Store? Failed to export/create backup On one of my devices those features still work, on others they really stopped. I can't export the ranking anymore

Please email us at contact@serpmojo.com and let us know if you're seeing any error show up. It might be either a permissions error (can't write to SD card) or simply a "disk full" error (there's not enough space to create the temporary file needed before uploading it somewhere else). I fell in 💓💓💓💓 with SERPmojo 👌👌👌👌Keep up the good work👍👍👍 I want to know one thing ,price of pro features is for year/month (or) One time fee ?

It's a one time fee. Great App. It tracks rankings. There is no other free tool out there that does what Serpmojo does for free. It tracks rankings. Period. Bought PRO to support development.
Nice! A cracking little app for monitoring search rankings. Multiple sites and keywords. Well worth upgrading to premium version.

Spent a few months on free version. First app I ever went premium/pro on. Works wonders and helps me target my competitors keywords.
Free version gives basic info but great for client meetings to show current ranks at click of a button. Looking forward to trying the trial on the pro version.
Good SEO monitoring app Some suggested improvement, 1) able to deactivate URL instead of delete. 2) fetch as mobile device .

All the updating happens on your device. That's required in order to get accurate results. There's a backup but no restore :) must write again one by one when change a device. Wish can backup to and restore from cloud

There is functionality to restore backups. First, make sure the app is installed on the device, then simply tap on the backup file and SERPmojo will start and import the data automatically. Pretty impressrd by the simplicity and yet detailed statistics if this app. Paid for the full version. Keep it working !
Poor app in no Pro version you can't do anything in the free version

Hi,
Android by itself doesn't have a file manager. So saving the file "on device" would make you unable to locate it to restore the backup. We do create the file, and leave it up to the user where they keep the backup file. This is like a pocket Ranking checker. I love it too !
