Good app but needs updating This is a good app. I use it all the the time. But it does need updating. Since I installed this app two new airports were added to the airports list in my area. This was months ago. I hoped to see them appear in AirReport Pro. They never did. So I wrote the developer. All I got was a canned response stating that the developer would update the list as he got notifications of updates from the list. The list has updated. 2 other METAR apps I use have the new airports included. So what's the story here?
A must-have tool for outdoor sports Solved all my problems with local volatile morning weather for my cycling and running training, in a moment. Maybe it is not typical use of this software, but it works way better then traditional weather sites. Of course, some airport should be present in a neighborhood. Additional thumbs up for excellent measurement units conversion and great email support (received an answer in 3 minutes). Pro version worth every penny, just go and buy it.
SAVE YOUR MONEY! So, I wouldn't waste your time or money downloading this software. The company apparently doesn't exist anymore, and is still collecting money. ZERO customer service, AUTOMATED responses to customer questions, NO LEGIT way to contact the company directly as their website has only a link to a non-existing email address. Used to give this software 5 stars, now if I could give ZERO stars, I'd still feel like I gave too many... Emailed them twice with the same concern and only received automated responses back...
Needs new android version I own the SGN4. The app needs a settings button in the upper right corner to create and manipulate dashboards. Right now the app is worthless. Also I use the app on multiple devices. I have to enter all my locations for each device. Needs a data cloud of some sort. Otherwise I like the app.
Galaxy S5 issue Since samsung took away the physical settings button, which allowed you to access settings. On the S5, it's gone. You can always tap the three dots at the upper-right of the screen in most apps, but not this one. If you want to access the settings here, hold down the multitasking button at the bottom left of the screen. That brings up settings menu.
Good App for historic weather The biggest issue is not being able to obviously access the settings menu. However you can do this on the galaxy s6 by pressing and holding the back button. I think this will work on any phone with a back/return button. Apart from that it is a good App.
