Ratings and reviews

Visually, battles are uninteresting. It hard to see certain pieces on the board, and it's hard to tell when turns end. If quests are the way to get enough gold and exp, then don't give us those measly numbers after battle, because it just looks like you're being stingy. Make the first quest beating one enemy. That way it becomes clear quests are how you're rewarded.

Off to an OK start... My first problem was that every enemy is more powerful than your character. Not crazy about the waiting around to get attacked while recovering health (because you have no items at all and are insanely expensive). But the biggest flaw is that even if you do win a match - thanks for the ONE gold and ONE exp point! It would take FOREVER to buy even one weapon. Say the sword is 2,000 gold and the average match is 10min, and you get ONE gold... How many hundred hours later???

Every battle is 1gold/exp. You have to kill 180 rats to get to level 2 and 500 of them to buy your first spell/weapon. The first quest was a whole 5 gold/exp out of 200. Enemies have ridiculously huge health pools. Just to add more salt. I'm pretty sure you could beat every final fantasy game ever made TWICE besides the MMOs before you hit level 3(first spell learned) and this is with the 'premium' battle pass they offer.
