Ratings and reviews

Finally fixed the image/video playback issues after about 2 months. Now I can view and download images and videos when away from desk. It would have been nicer if this was acknowledged as a known issue in update notes or website and also listed as fixed in the update release notes from 9/20. I can understand not wanting to admit bugs/faults and maybe it wasn't a widespread issue but it was still frustrating not knowing if it was my device or a bad app update or server side or something else.

While the app is a mobile version of slack, the main point of slack is to communicate, and over half the time I try to send a message, the send button disappears of is replaced by the mic, and then the message will sometimes automatically send 1-5 minutes later. This is incredibly frustrating when I'm trying to communicate with my colleagues, and it defeats the entire purpose of the app. If I can't communicate efficiently and consistently using it, there's no point in trying it.

Tons of problems compared to desktop. This app routinely fails to load chat history from DMs and occasionally channels. It also routinely fails to mark things as read. I've also had problems sharing photos into slack using the standard android framework - where it looks like it is trying to upload but never ever completes. The only way to clear it has been a full install and reinstall. These are super basic capabilities that should work 100% of the time. Very disappointing.
