Snap! Orlando's ‘CITY unseen’ is an ongoing public art project with site specific installations across Orlando. This project opens artistic borders by launching the city into Augmented Reality [ AR ] experiences, with fusions of works by internationally renowned artists and cutting-edge AR technology. Experiences include murals coming to life, a projection mapping finding permanence into the virtual world, and a teleport bringing the viewer into a 360 degree visit of an artist’s Los Angeles studio.
CITY unseen is designed to push the artistic boundaries of this new medium to connect Orlando to a global conversation about how to use emerging technology to create higher forms of art and educational experiences. The project enhances viewers’ perspectives on art, dimensional reality, and perception, adding another layer of cultural significance to the Downtown and Central Florida region. CITY unseen initially takes root in Downtown Orlando with a number of public installations and murals around the city that are enhanced with embedded augmented reality components which can be viewed with the CITY unseen App.

Never roll something out for an opening event if it doesn't work on multiple platforms for you viewers and other clientele. Sad attempt and huge waste of time trying to download 345mb of data.

Hi Michael! We're very sorry you had a bad experience, it makes us feels terrible. There were unforeseen issues on GooglePlay(not iOS) so we switched to manual downloads which is not ideal :( Sorry you were caught in the middle. We've made fixes, download is now 60mb initially & works. Hope you can rescore us in the future & show us support.

extremely large download and app doesn't work. wasted 10 min of my life downloading then trying to figure it out

Hi Brandon, we're sorry you had that kind of experience, we've actually been actively working over the past few weeks to not to force a huge download (however the page was left live). The app is aimed toward those local to the City of Orlando where you can visit places around the city for AR experiences. We hope you rescore us in the future.
