In 1833 two wells were dug "at the behest of the royal government of Swabia and Neuburg" "for the refreshment of humans and animals". Three years later, the first settlers built their houses near the Königsbrunnen. With the help of the Königsbrunner Stories app, both the city's history - from the first settlements in the Neolithic Age to the meager and hard life of the first colonists in 1836 - as well as the 5 museums in Königsbrunn can now be explored individually.
