Update: the newest version allows test settings in MB instead of KB. That is great. But the loss measurement is gone. That was the most useful part of the app. Please fix! This is the only app I have found that runs continuously while I adjust my cellular modem antenna for not only the best speed but the best quality. Since I live in an area with low cellular signal, this is important to me. other apps just tell me the speed at a single moment. Thanks for the great app!

This app is both good and not so good. It's good if you want to monitor the continuous signal from your wifi to your phone. It measures both the uptime and downtime. I especially like that it notes each time the signal drops and for how long. It gives totals, as well. On the not so good side, it appears to be meant for tech folks. I am not a tech, so I don't fully understand the terms or data. There is no help or guidance in the app. Overall, though, I got good information.

works as described, I'm curious if the target speed i set (which returns to default anyone i pause/resume) would create more downtime the higher it is. IE: my ISP is 6mbps, if i set it at 10mbps (which i won't hit because I'd get throttled to 6) would it be 100% down? edit: so i noticed this, the target you set is for both down and up. which is a bit odd cause most isps have larger down than up (mine is 6/2 for instance). suggestion for update is to have targets for both down and up.

thanks for your review. the app uses peer-to-peer network of test nodes, and upload speed must be eq. to download speed, by design. I dont like to purchase more servers for asymmetric bandwidth tests now. Connection is considered as down if one of following happens: 1) band.<10% of targ. (below 1Mbps in your case) 2) RTT>2s 3) loss>50%
