Fills a gaping app category on Android IOS app store seems littered with quality goal setting marketing pitches. But it's slim pickings for Androiders. This is a very respectable effort. The widgets are very useful, good visual contrast in the UI, data entry is simple and easy and no unnecessary permissions. I particularly like the way it caters for both good and bad habits. Only downside is a lack of connection to goals. Charts/graphs, a way to export the data and a catchier name would be a good idea too.
Exactly what I was looking for! I have wasted so much time on other productivity apps where I have to make each item and check it off as I go or on other habit apps that aren't as flexible. I love how you can choose between at least one (and up to as many as you want) per day OR week. Perfect for all of my goals!
The Best Currently Out There Habit Goal Monitor Pro is a great program. Recently I tried out at least 10 different habit programs. Habit Streak, iPro Habit Tracker, Habit Factor, etc. I think I tried all of them. The main reason this one is so good is the notifications. The notifications are extremely flexible and work every time. Some of the other apps don’t even have notifications! This a basic habit program, not limited, but having the ability for strong notifications to remind you of habits is essential. Also you can dismiss them and +1 them right from the notification message. I would like to see some additional features. It also looks like there has not been an update for a while now. A backup feature would be nice. Some kind of long-term graph and calendar view would be nice. Developers please add some new features and still keep this app fast, light and quick, which is excels! Awesome program for habits, currently the best!
I think I found what I was looking for: Things I particularly like about this app: - tracking of progress - ability to backdate start and progress (lacking in a lot of similar aps). I have some 'before sleep' habits, that I obviously need to be able to mark off the following day. Well done. - individual reminders for each goal. Nice. To improve it could use more options for : sorting, filtering and catergorisation options; widgets ; a yes/no or specific days.
Solid Basic App This app is simple to use and works well. My only complaint is that their is no way to backup, export or import saved data. If you change devices all habits will need to be recreated and the history will be lost.
Didn't work for me. The app functions smoothly. But there is no way to see the big picture. It needs a way to track things monthly or a calendar view. I work a few days on one project and then a few days on the next project. The weekly percentages are an inaccurate reflection of what I am doing. There is no way to remove the wonky percentages from view which gives the UI a cluttered look and is kind of discouraging to look at. I eventually quit using it and moved my goals to Activity Log pro.
Reminder alarms can now be set. Create multiple simple or complex reminders for your habits.
Android 4.1/JellyBean phones can +1 directly from the notification message.
Goals count can now go up to 999.
You can have a goal of zero for 'limit of' habits.
Keep Going is easy and beautiful. Reach your goals by working a little every day
