Works fine on Nexus 7 I have found no problem getting this to work, which it does consistently on my Nexus 7 Controlling the PTZ cameras are an issue. It is very jerky. Would be great if you could access recorded data. For looking at the current activity on up to 9 cameras on wifi when out it's just fine.
Issues tapping to enlarge to full screen When double tapping screen to enlarge view to full screen the app is trying to move the screen rather than enlarge it. Issue seems to occur more when on wifi vs 4g. Is there anything else that I should do differently to keep screens from moving rather than enlarging? Otherwise app is great!
Samsung S4 lollipop version 5.0.1 For some reason this app now works perfectly. I'm able to see all my cameras and control my three dumb cameras everything that's described and mentioned that works perfectly. Not sure what I did to get the app to finally work but it seems to be working on both my LAN and WAN Networks.
Not Compatible with Galaxy S4 Android, after upgrading to 'Lolipop'! Not Compatible with Galaxy S4 Android, after upgrading to 'Lolipop' Not Compatible with Galaxy S4 Android, after upgrading the 'phone OS to 'Lolipop'! I think that the previous OS used Java & the 'Lolipop' OS has done away with Java. So if the nice people at Swann could re-write their App to make it work with 'Lolipop' we would all be very thankful. Meanwhile 1 stars only (just to get it to register - otherwise it's really 0 stars as it doesn't work!).
Does not work on Lollipop My personal phone came with Lollipop and my work phone was just updated with Lollipop. This app will no longer display my cameras, and I do not expect an update since this app has not been supported in years. Fortunately, IP Cam Viewer works with my cameras which I found recommend in another user's review.
Good when it works VERY! Buggy and intermittent....doesn't work on Galaxy note 10.1 or Galaxy s3 anymore Whats happened? One of the selling points for me for their Swann systems was the free dns server and the ability to view cameras on portable devices..
Up to 9 Cameras on screen at same time
Drag cameras on screen to easily re-arrange view
Easily view multiple DVRs
Note: Due to a limit in the CIF DVRs processing power, Swann CIF DVRs allow a maximum of 4 cameras to be connected from any one DVR at at time. D1 DVRs such as the 3000 and 4000 series allow all installed cameras to be connected at the same time up to the 9 that can be viewed with this app.
One of the best app for remote surveillance, local and cloud video recording.
