Works fine on Nexus 7 I have found no problem getting this to work, which it does consistently on my Nexus 7 Controlling the PTZ cameras are an issue. It is very jerky. Would be great if you could access recorded data. For looking at the current activity on up to 9 cameras on wifi when out it's just fine.
Samsung S4 lollipop version 5.0.1 For some reason this app now works perfectly. I'm able to see all my cameras and control my three dumb cameras everything that's described and mentioned that works perfectly. Not sure what I did to get the app to finally work but it seems to be working on both my LAN and WAN Networks.
Really bad app Pros: Easy to connect to my dvr. Cons: Wipes out all settings on my Note 8.0 when I close the app, cannot double tap to go from mutiple cameras to enlarge one, images are so bad there is no way to identify a person.
Good when it works VERY! Buggy and intermittent....doesn't work on Galaxy note 10.1 or Galaxy s3 anymore Whats happened? One of the selling points for me for their Swann systems was the free dns server and the ability to view cameras on portable devices..
Not Compatible with Galaxy S4 Android, after upgrading to 'Lolipop'! Not Compatible with Galaxy S4 Android, after upgrading to 'Lolipop' Not Compatible with Galaxy S4 Android, after upgrading the 'phone OS to 'Lolipop'! I think that the previous OS used Java & the 'Lolipop' OS has done away with Java. So if the nice people at Swann could re-write their App to make it work with 'Lolipop' we would all be very thankful. Meanwhile 1 stars only (just to get it to register - otherwise it's really 0 stars as it doesn't work!).
Started great but failed after upgrade This was installed when I first had my Android tablet was at Kit Kat however there are some considerable bugs in the app once the os gets upgraded to lollipop. Intermittent black out which leaves my business paralysed and to my home where I cannot see at all locally or remotely. I am disappointed with the developers for letting this go by for at least several months withoutany upgrades.
Up to 9 Cameras on screen at same time
Drag cameras on screen to easily re-arrange view
Easily view multiple DVRs
Note: Due to a limit in the CIF DVRs processing power, Swann CIF DVRs allow a maximum of 4 cameras to be connected from any one DVR at at time. D1 DVRs such as the 3000 and 4000 series allow all installed cameras to be connected at the same time up to the 9 that can be viewed with this app.
