Issue is fixed. I can now manage my dvr again. After latest updates I can no longer use the app to delete shows on my dvr, though the app description still says that I should be able to use the app for that. The ability to delete programs is available on my husband's iPhone app. Why remove such a useful feature? Please put it back!
Experiencing the same DGE-1001 ERROR on "On Demand". The app has worked great until the latest update. If I reboot my phone or goto settings/apps and force stop, I have a better than avg chance that "On Demand" will work for awhile. I'm aware the issue has been addressed, just thought I would put my two cents in. Tech info - Note 5 running Android 6.00. BTW.... NFL app sign in fails due to "Not a subscriber to NFL channel". I am a subscriber & do have NFL channel in my package lineup. Not sure where the mis-step is but the sign in info is Charter's responsibility.
How do you create an app that doesn't work? How is that even possible? This is pathetic the only reason I upgraded was for this service! So everyday I cant use it I expect to be reimbursed 1/31 so that would be two days so far! I will need to contact the president of spectrum I will need his cell number to discuss thank you.
When I'm not getting the DGE-1001 error that says the app is not working "quite right", or am unable to cast onscreen via Chromecast, or the available on demand episodes on the app are different from the ones on the cable box, then I can only view 25 seconds of video at a time interrupted by 2 to 3 minutes of buffering inbetween. Absolutely, an almost unusable app. Terrible. And please don't respond with your cookie cutter comment by telling me to contact customer service. Just fix this terrible app so it works as it should for paying customers.
Feels like the app is managed by amateurs if managed at all. There's always some sort of glitch or bug. Ive been getting the DGE-1001 error for the last 1.5 months making the "On Demand" 100% unusable. Ive tried all the recommended troubleshooting tips found online...uninstall app, clear cache, reboot phone, reinstall app...disable wifi antenna, reboot modem, enable wifi antenna...ect. Im a Spectrum employee and am embarrassed at the functionality of this app.
UPDATE: deleted and reinstalled( as per spectrum's generic response) the app but found no change. The pixelated picture is unusable. What a shame. This app worked awesome when it was Brighthouse's product. How can a huge company like charter ruin something that such a small company like Bright House made work so well? Especially at the rate of cable these days it's unacceptable! Pissed in Inverness!
