Amazing app, I love to listen while I'm writing. I had a thought too. One was about adding a wind storm mode, like making the sound of wind through trees or something. The other was a setting that will make the storm sound like its approaching/leaving. Like just making the sounds fade in and out over a period of time. Still, awesome app, one purchase I'd not regret!
This app is better than my finding great YouTube videos, saving them (I have YouTube red) and listening to them. If possible, can you please add more situations and thunder, rain, just more of everything? The first one and the ocean ones are my favorites (birds muted). Even the Cafe one is great (muting people) thanks for the great app. The thunder, unlike most of my favorite YouTubes, does not jar me out of the relaxation.(rain is my favorite thing)
No playback buttons in the notification pane. Ugly logo. Dear Dev. It's material design time pls. Also, could we have a "reset to defaults" button by the volume sliders? Start a beta programme, I'll sign up and give regular feedback. It's a good app but it could be so much more.
Allows me to do what I already love doing with the Rainy Day web page - overlay ambient sounds to music for added focus/relaxation - but on the go and with even greater variety. Idea for a cool future feature: add a setting to the soundscapes that have thunder that increases the frequency/volume of the thunder based on the volume and beats-per-minute of the music being played in another app. Storm sounds: not just for relaxin'!
Like other reviews have said, don't buy this if you're just looking for a better version of the online one. The online one is, imo, better than the app. though the app is customisable it isn't worth the money (again, imo). I bought the app so i could play music and rain simultaneously, but you can't really use it this way b/c the rain is so quiet. Would be great if they could fix that, and add the actual original rain sounds 👍 overall okay app
I use this app, in conjunction with closed headphones, to block out the sound of my neighbor's subwoofer. The sound of the thunder tricks my brain into not differentiating between the subwoofer and the thunder which neutralizes the distraction. It appears the devs have really improved this app recently. Currently, we can specify the volume of the sounds in each setting, ie the volume of the rain vs thunder vs crickets. A great feature would also be to specify the frequency of sounds, ie hearing thunder more often. Sometimes when that subwoofer really gets goin' I'd like to thunder to hit more often. I've used RainyMood for years and I appreciate your product. Also subwoofers are the bane of my existence.
