About this app

Team UOW is a team of university students from the University of Wollongong commenting in the Solar Decathlon Middle East 2018. Team UOW designed the Desert Rose to celebrate human life in all its diversity keeping our ageing population in their homes for longer, increasing their quality of life, especially those living with dementia The Desert Rose is also a net-positive, sustainably designed house using smart solutions to achieve optimum energy efficiency.

Using AR, this app allows you to discover the smart solutions used by Team UOW to create their entry in the Solar Decathlon Middle East 2018. Learn how these students have designed and built a net-positive energy house focused towards keeping our aging population in their homes for longer.

This app utilizes has many features to enhance the learning experience whilst in the Desert rose house. Features include:
- 3D house model using AR and fully interactive 3D modelling
- AR icon recognition that brings up the appropriate information for locations within the house
