I had no idea what this game was. I got it based on reviews, and oh boy, it was worth it. I played straight through, minus a couple of breaks to let my phone cool down. Super fun, totally trippy, intuitive controls (after initial tutorial), mysterious storyline set in a sci-fi future. Can't wait to see what these folks do next. Seriously. What is their next thing?
A MUST BUY FOR ANY DAYDREAM USER. Like the others have said: this game is a mashup of Portal and Inception. It is so fun and adults will love the humor and depth. Great writing and voice acting. I had to fight my kids to play my own VR game (they usually confiscate my phone as soon as I come home from work). You won't regret this purchase. I can't wait for a follow-up or any other games released by the studio. P.S.--Like the show Lost, I don't think anyone will get the ending-ending...I DID!
This game was by far the coolest that I have come across yet for VR. It has a perfect combination of humor, and rebellion. It is obvious that the creators of this game really took their time. I'm looking forward to more games like this!
Doesn't work on Pixel XL (constant overheating or eyes out of sync), doesn't work on LG V30 (tells you to reboot but gives the same message after reboots). I don't know how 200 people have successfully played it.
Would be 5 stars but it doesn't support audio casting like many other VR apps, meaning you can't Chromecast the game to a TV properly. Also it heats up a Pixel XL like crazy and you can only get about 20 minutes in before performance goes to hell. Ultimately a super fun game limited by hardware.
Phenomenal. This game has a similar vibe and sense of humour to Portal, but set in a world reminiscent of Black Mirror, with the satirical outlook of Silicon Valley, a gameplay concept straight out of Inception, and the trippy visuals of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. I got stuck a couple times and unable to figure out how to progress to the next stage, which was frustrating, but overall it was so well executed that I was very willing to forgive the occasionally flawed level design.
