Convenient and getting better I've used this app for a couple of years now. It's always worked well and the recent improvements make it even easier.
Alliant needs a better deposit app The camera capturing feature is the worst ever. It's hard to focus it and to get the checks to fit in the green area. It's hard to get this app to take a good picture
Pretty Decent I haven't had any glaring issues with the app. Works fairly well.
Another frustrating check deposit app from Alliant Horrible. Frustrating.
Works poorly I have 4 financial institutions that have mobile banking. This is the worst by far. Just got rejected for another deposit that went right in to my other account. Not sure how long I will be sticking with Alliant. They don't seem to care.
This worked ok before, but they got fancy in a recent upgrade and made the app useless. It takes a picture of the front of the check with no problem, but it always makes a skewed mess of the back of the check. My guess is that they were trying to be clever and automatically straighten the image, but instead they messed it up and now it automatically distorts the image. I've emailed support a number of times with pictures showing the problem, but haven't heard anything back. Don't bother installing this if it is still the May 4, 2015 release. I'm running a Note 4.
Streamlined check image capture:
* Redesigned user interface includes photo capture as the first step
* Once the front of the check is captured, the amount will auto-fill at the bottom of the deposit screen
* New tip screens were developed to with proper check preparation for both the front and back of the check
* New image overlays demonstrate proper check placement within the image capture window
The RiteCheck app lets users check reward points, calculate check cashing fees.
