"The Midnight Man: Remastered" is a remake of our original indie horror game "The Midnight Man", now with new and improved game play mechanics and HD graphics.

This game is based on a real ritual used to summon ‘The Midnight Man’ to punish rule breakers in pagan religions long ago. Your goal is to avoid the midnight man at all costs until 3:33AM. You may move through the house to avoid him. If he is near; your candle will go out. You will have ten seconds to relight your candle, If not; it’s game over. You cannot re-light your candle if you are near the midnight man.

Notice that this port has been optimised to be playable on android devices. For the reason the game will look graphically different from the desktop version.

Ratings and reviews

The concept is interesting, since im into creepypastas. But the controls are too sensitive and hard to control. You can't tell what's going on, and I was disappointed when I found out that you weren't going to have the creepiness and excitement of doing the ritual. The character isn't scary, and the graphics are ok. When you die is shows that classic ring of blood that isn't realistic or scary. If you like horror, this isn't the game for you. Or anyone. Just no.

The lighting was bad, I didn't get jumpscared and it was way to hard to control. I couldn't even walk and look at the same time. Also, I was excited to do the ritual but I guess not. My character froze in place and I literally stared at the midnight man, and my candle didnt go out, and he just stood there, then disappeared. If you want to just put a game on, set your phone down, leave it there and come back later to find out you won, this is the game

My Pros & Cons first. Pros: The atmosphere was perfect for a game like this. Cons: Its way to easy to beat. The candle never went out anytime in the game and the Midnight Man never killed me even if i let him kim. Or injured either. Hes more of a buddy to hide with. So yeah. Theres a lot that needs fixed to get a higher rating for this app.
