Still Useful With Android 6 I still use AppMgr III to move apps to the SD card on my Note 4 and it helps me keep the local memory space open for use. Large Cache Notification is helpful in this way as well. I have had it on a couple of previous phones. Not as useful on phones w/internal memory only. The app has developed more tools for cache monitoring and checking file size to make it useful on all phones.
Apparently my device does not support moving to sd. that said, the app has a nice, clean interface and should have worked but didn't. - I got to the last step of moving an app to SD, I am prompted to tap the change button, BUT there is no change button😥. - So, if my device supported this action I would have been able to complete the process and I would have been extremely thrilled about this app
You probably need this one... If you use apps with on-device databases, such as dictionaries, maps, etc. ....If you tried it in the past, try it again. You may find that it's been improved since then. I have no reservations about giving the most recent version 5 stars.
Yup, get this Still rocking my Galaxy S4 w/SD card. This app will move most (but not every) app.to the SD card to free up space. Photos, shopping, weather, Facebook apps that take up a lot of space. Only drawback, is that after any app update, you have to move the app back to the SD card. You are prompted to do so. Not a big deal, just a little annoying to have to keep moving them back. But overall, does what I want and need it to do.
Works great to free up internal memory I have been using this to free up space. Apps seem to run fine ftom the Micro SD card. Only thing I don't like is everytime an app updates you have to move it again. Seems like I am constantly doing that. Besides that it works as designed.
Saved my phone and sanity! I was about to ditch my Samsung Galaxy S5 due to all the proprietary apps that couldn't be uninstalled & took up loads of space. I was unable to install new apps and fed up with it. A friend recommended this app to easily keep track of the cache which was a large part of the problem. Not only that, but it allows much easier management of all the apps on the device. Loved it so much I bought the pro version which is even better. Love it! Great job developers! And thank you!
