App not specific enough
I came across Texas Football while looking for a simple, centralized place to keep up with the greatest college football team, the Texas Longhorns. The idea of the app is great. It includes a universal news feed from various sources on the latest Texas Football action. The app has a Facebook tab for their Facebook information. It even has tabs for the game schedule and game tickets. To the Longhorn Football fan, this sounds like paradise, but the creators of the news app cut a few corners. The news feed loads very unattractively and every other tab takes you into mobile web page view. The equivalent experience can be achieved by adding a few bookmarks to your mobile chrome browser, which would also be accessible on your desktop. The target audience for this app would be Longhorn fans. This app provides all the information that a Texas fan needs. Although it’s web browser-based, it provides all the essential news and information, prepping the user for game day. This Texas Football app claims it’s made by fans. This gives the impression that they’re just helping out the Longhorn Nation out of pure charity. However, they do pester you with an ad banner at the top of the screen. Thi
Lacking Definitely not what I expected. Have to hunt to find the news about what the Longhorns need to do to get better. But then that's coaches are asking.
Ads. Ads. Ads. Ads. Ads. Ads. Is it really that expensive to run this low level app that you need to sell ads?

Don't give you enough information on whatever you looking for. Not good on giving new updates on what's happening at the moment
