Review from Katie McMurray
At first blush I like it, especially the calendar I like to stay involved in community activities. I spend a great deal of time alone as I am a writer and so the stetotype. The calendar will help remind me to get out and socialize. What I don't like is no brain games, AARP talks the talk on this topic but charges fees to play on website. I am an online advertiser, marketing provider and AARP should wrap their collective brain around the power of offering free games. As it is now AARP appears as a money making machine. Free brain games are all over Google store therefore taking users away from your content. Perhaps just one good useful free game... Brain games are crucial to brain health. My work philosophy is see a need fill the need. Charging member to participate in this aspect of AARP is out dated and obsolete.
September 6, 2017Hi Katie, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. Our Staying Sharp program does offer a free version so there are some games you can play without a paid subscription.
Too difficult to enter birth date. I abandoned signing in.
It's just what I need, thank you!!!
